Quality & Product Handling

Inspections

On request, we’re able to fulfill PPAP’s and custom first-article-inspections (FAIs) to whatever template is needed.

To ensure our products exceed your expectations, we perform the following inspection types:

  • mechanical

  • chemical

  • pass/fail hi-pot testing to customer specs

  • routine visual inspections

As part of our routine visual quality procedures, we use 2D scanning inspection equipment to automatically inspect parts after initial operations. Our machine can capture 40 million measurements in 0.1 seconds. This makes us able to find defects faster and with greater accuracy, correcting problems before large batches are run.

Kitting

Kitting is a specialized packaging service add-on we offer to customers with specific delivery needs.

Typically kits are used for customers who:

  1. Need to reorder various parts on a consistent basis.

  2. Need a variety of certain parts to be specifically packed together with certain quantities.

  3. Order a variety of components that need to be packaged together, but not assembled.

  4. Order a variety of components that need to be packaged together for end-user assembly.

Our kitting service starts with custom built crates from our in-house wood shop, and ends with tightly packed and protected parts ready for the customer to complete their finished product.  Depending on product size and order volume, we can comply to your specific shipping preferences.

We're always on the lookout for ways to add value to our customers. Depending on project requirements, we may ask if you'd like to include kitting into your service.
